How could handing over your email management grow your business?

What if you had a partner to regain the time that you spend in your inbox? 

Most people assume that email is just one of those things that they have to deal with, and that it can't be delegated. But that is just not the case. Imagine being able to focus on the things that would directly bring income into your business. Take a moment to think about it... email management is not a revenue building work task if you are self employed. I'm not talking about answering those "Closing the deal" type emails, but the everyday - template question - spam/ junk mail sorting things task that have to be done in your inbox. Your time could and should be much better handled. 

Here are a few indications that it is time for your to partner with a Virtual Assistant to manage your emails for you:

Inbox = A Mess
If thinking about your inbox makes up feel anxious because there isn't a good system for follow up, then you could be missing important messages and opportunities. 
If you don't have the time to get your inbox under control, delegating this task may provide you with some much needed peace of mind.

SPAM/Junk Mail
Just like paper junk mail, not one wants spam cluttering up your email inbox.  Depending on the email agent you are using there are lots of great filters to keep this from building up in your primary folder. But that doesn't mean that everything that gets put into the Junk box should be there. So you still have to at least scan through every once in awhile to make sure and empty it. Now take all those seconds or even minutes a month that you are scanning Titles and clicking delete. Add them all up and consider if that time could spent elsewhere. 

Checking your email often
We all have to stay on top of our inbox, but we do have to draw a line somewhere. If you are constantly checking your email, I am sure that it has interrupted or interfered with time that you could have been productive in another way or spending time with your family. 
A few minutes here and there may not seem like a like by themselves, but when you add them all together you realize time is money and sometimes every minute counts when you are trying to run a successful business.

  • Prioritize the emails that absolutely need your attention 
  • Send and respond to messages on your behalf
  • Organize a disorganized and cluttered inbox
  • Unsubscribe from unwanted email lists
  • File away important messages in specific email folders so they can be easily found when you need them
  • Provide you with a regular (daily, weekly, etc) report of important messages that are timely and need your attention
