An Online Business Manager (OBM) is a contractor or freelancer whose primary function is to oversee or consult on the strategic direction of your business and manage projects, allowing you to focus on your core competencies, such as driving growth or serving your clients or customers.
A Project Manager would focus on managing all the moving parts of a specific project or set of projects.
This can be separate people or one-in-the-same. They can be hired on a retainer or short-term basis for a project launch or if you need to step away from your business for a while.
As your online business manager or project management expert, I am here to help you create and implement standards and processes that will streamline your operations and help you achieve your business goals.
With my extensive experience in operations and project management, I can help you manage your projects from start to finish. I will work closely with you to understand your business objectives, develop project plans, set milestones, and ensure its all completed on time and within budget.
You may not need me on an ongoing basis and thats ok! I can also meet with you for an organizational consultation.
By working with an OBM you can focus on staying within your skillset and outsource the tasks that you don’t like, aren’t good at, or just don’t want to do. An OBM can either do them for you or find an expert who can do it quicker and with a better ROI.
Operational Management or Consultation: organizing and automating your business processes through the utilization of online systems such as CRM, accounting, team communication, and the creation of SOPs (standard operating procedures). This increases efficiency and consistency; and simplifies your day. Reducing headaches and stresses for you and your possible team.
Project Management: managing a project launch, creating a website, marketing, or launching a membership portal, digital product or an online course. All of these types of projects take a lot of time and different skill sets to develop. I may not have all of those skill myself, but my years in this industry have allowed me to make some great global connections to assist me in getting the projects done right the first time.
People Management: Dependant on how many people you either employ or subcontract, this can become a full-time job in itself! An OBM will/can recruit, manage, delegate, and organize your team. They also systemize your onboarding procedure and training, or take responsibility for the day-to-day management of those people.
Strategic planning and goal setting. Having a professional who comprehends your business and with whom you can share your ideas or seek a second opinion can be incredibly valuable, especially if you are accustomed to working alone. Sometimes, a great idea just needs a fresh perspective to revitalize it and bring it to fruition.

Let's find a time to clear your schedule for 4 hours so that we can do a deep dive into key areas of your organization. This time is ALL ABOUT YOU and YOUR BUSINESS. We will use this session to assess the top 4-5 areas of your company. I'll be your sounding board, planner, organizer, and support. You'll walk away from this session with clear next steps. Consider it a business checkup, if you will.
Good uses of this time would be:
Identify tasks or procedures that are energy-draining, waste time, need an overhaul, or are obsolete.
Examine systems, determine if improvements are needed, and provide recommendations (this is great for onboarding, offboarding, meetings, yearly events/calendar, etc.)
Discuss methods to improve inbox and calendar management
